Twas the day after Christmas

Alright, today is the day darnit lol. I have been doing a lot and I do mean a lot of talking here on the blog but I'm about to have either a cup of tea or coffee and get to work. It's currently about 6:30 here on the east coast in the states and I have to put in some major work. My "Why" has me extremely motivated and extremely hungry for success. I know what needs to be done I just don't know how exactly to do the things that will get me to where I want to be.

Affiliate Marketing: either creating a landing page for people to go to who are looking for the products I'm promoting, creating a landing page where I'll collect emails to then send people the products I'm promoting, or just going out and sharing my affiliate links on various platforms.

•       Also it would be nice to use my YouTube channel to promote affiliate offers but my channel is not purely for profit. My channel as you guys know is documenting my journey while providing motivation and education for young people. I don't want to sell anyone to products through that platform. I'm considering creating another account where I could maybe do product reviews or something of this sort, YouTube/Google is a great source of free traffic right now
• Aside from YouTube I also see the value in promoting products to people through Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. Pinterest has already been known to be used by it's members for promoting affiliate links & products directly. When promoting through Instagram so many people are already promoting affiliate programs and Drop-shipping stores. For affiliate programs however, the challenge for me is that you simply don't want to put an affiliate link in your bio, rather people are sending their traffic to a capture page where they then either collect your contact info (usually email) or send you directly to their affiliated product. As for Facebook I've mostly seen those from Motor Club of America for example, where people go into groups and say things such as "message me to learn how to make a certain amount of money online." From there I've experienced myself, affiliates will send you info about the company their promoting products for in which you essentially become a referred affiliate under them which helps them to gain more money. I have no problem with that but at this point I'd rather figure out how to do affiliate marketing correctly myself and then promote the products that I want to.

Right now affiliate marketing seems to be the easiest method and honestly my best chance of being able to make at least $3000 a month by May of 2018. My goal right now as I've mentioned to you guys in previous posts, is to have my business as my full time "job" so that upon graduating in May of 2018 I can sort of pick and choose if and which actual job I'll take. Long story short, I won't have to worry about not getting the best job upon graduation. My ultimate goal of course is to never have to work some 9-5 job or to live a lifestyle working for someone else and honestly I'm seeing way too many people achieve this goal nowadays to not believe that I will get there. I'm spending so much time researching and watching videos of guys explaining how they do it and showing their results so I know the time is coming for me.

Aside from Affiliate marketing I'm still trying to start a Shopify store, my issue with this platform right now is just making sure I approach it correctly. Niche versus general store, 1 product versus many products, and which darn niche to go into. Starting a store is easy, choosing a "successful" product isn't too difficult either, the marketing will ultimately prove to be the most important factor however I still want to make sure that my store will last for somewhat of the long term. I don't just want to have good results next year to have just a successful 2018, once I make it big I want to stay there and keep moving forward.

After creating my Shopify store I then want to get into trading a little, even to just collect dividends. An extra $100 a year accumulating in an account would even greatly be appreciated right now but once I've consistently gotten to $3000 or more a month, making a living from my business I will for sure spend a lot of time in whatever I pursue, especially the stock market. 

These are my goals and what I'm working on right now, I expect to be at my monthly income goal by February of 2018 and when I've gotten there please believe me that things will only get better. The blog will become better, what I provide to you guys in the form of video or resources will be better, life will be better. Keep moving forward.
